The Museum of Science and Industry provided us with a brief to refurbish their café into an industrial themed catering venue. We worked closely with Levy Restaurants throughout the project to design and build an outlet that was not only a continuation of the museum experience, but as a stand alone destination, that would attract, appeal and entice repeat visits. Key to the design proposals were features including bespoke manufactured industrial iron tables, dividing screens that looked to the history of the textile industry for inspiration and an intimate lighting scheme, with glass pendant clusters above tables and large industrial dome pendants for general lighting across the café.
